Ruth Boodhoo

I am a multi-media visual artist who is interested in exploring and playfully experimenting with different media. I tend to move between media over time, but am currently focussed on watercolours, paper, threads and fabric. Sometimes this means that my practise can be very process led, pushing materials to see what they will do when combined or what affects how paint dries or how it sits on fabrics and paper. Working without a fixed idea of outcome, but enjoying creating, responding to the visual images that have been created through this process and reflecting on how they could be drawn or painted or sewn into.

I joined Knighton Lane Artists in February 2024.
